Success Information Systems operates from “below the 49th” on the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The area is home to a wide variety of technology-based companies whose products and services range from power analysis and controls to environmental sensors to refined acid manufacture. The largely agricultural peninsula includes four municipalities and 3 “town sites”, the largest of which is promoted as “Sunny Sidney-by-the-Sea” – for good reason. Farms, wineries, marinas, the main ferry terminal providing access to mainland BC, and an international airport are all woven into its fabric. It is immediately adjacent to Victoria, a noted tourist destination as well as seat of the provincial government and home to the University of Victoria.
